Welcome to The Old Deanery. Before planning your stay, please carefully read our Booking Terms and Conditions. Understanding these Booking Terms and Conditions ensures a smooth, safe, and enjoyable visit to our historic estate, covering deposits, cancellations, check-in and check-out times, cottage rules, guest responsibilities, and included amenities.

Booking Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable booking deposit of €500.00 is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 21 days prior to arrival. We accept debit card payments (Visa or MasterCard) and online bank transfer.

To protect your holiday investment, we recommend reviewing our Booking Terms and Conditions alongside arranging travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances or cancellations.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of €600.00 is payable on arrival and refundable within 2 days after departure, subject to deductions for any breakages, damages, or excess cleaning costs. These rules are part of our Booking Terms and Conditions to ensure the property is well-maintained.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via registered post or email. If notice is received within 21 days of arrival, a 100% cancellation fee applies. For financial protection, consider travel insurance as part of your Booking Terms and Conditions awareness.

Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: From 3 PM

• Flexible check-in: Between 3 PM and 6 PM with prior arrangement

• Check-out: 12 noon

The holiday cottage must be vacated by 12 noon on the departure date, as stated in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions of Rental

All rentals include bed linen, duvets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and TV. Exclusive use of the Barn (function room) is available for group bookings only.

For safety and comfort:

• All cottages and the Barn are non-smoking (courtyard and gardens only).

• Guest numbers must not exceed the maximum cottage capacity.

• Any damages, breakages, or extra cleaning costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

• A €60 cleaning fee per cottage applies if left untidy.

• Glitter and confetti are prohibited.

• Owners or their agents may visit cottages or the Barn at reasonable times.

• No pets allowed anywhere.

• Only residential guests may stay; violations can result in immediate eviction without refund.

• Linen and towels

• Central heating per cottage (if required)

• Parking

• Welcome pack

• Wi-Fi (excludes Stables and Barn)

• Exclusive use of the Barn for group bookings including tables, chairs, glassware, cutlery, and crockery

• VAT 13.5%

• 2-hour use of the sauna barrel (pre-booking required)
